Welcome to Colonial Park

and

Weed Out! Racine

Working to make your Colonial Park in Racine all it can be.

Come join us to restore Colonial Park!

We are helping Colonial Park recover from the loss of ash trees.  Come help remove invasive plants, plant new trees and shrubs, and help bring the Park back to benefit nature for everyone.
The ash borer killed all the ash trees.  The tree cover is gone, and lots of invasive plants invaded.  Almost anyone can pull garlic mustard, dames rocket and burdock.  We are also planting tree seedlings and shrubs.  Come on a Saturday morning!  Bring the kids!

Colonial Park – a nice place to visit

A short walk through natural landscape with trees, shrubs and flowers along the river bank can be a welcome respite from the stress of the day.  And it's free!
